Let’s get it on

A new law has been passed in Los Angeles that requires all actors in adult movies to use condoms.

While the AIDS Healthcare Foundation, which pushed long and hard for this law, are still basking in the afterglow, porn producers are feeling a little shafted.

They say films with condoms aren’t as popular and will hurt an industry that’s already been softened by the recession. They may move to areas that aren’t covered by the condom law.

Currently, around 90% of American porn is produced in Los Angeles.

But whether or not you’re big on porn, porn is here to stay. And perhaps featuring condoms will protect not only the performers but the public as well. If it encourages people to put one on before they get it on, there may be a happy ending to this story after all.
