It all started over breakfast late one night.

After a long day of work, two advertising creative directors were pondering life over steak and eggs. One asked the other, “If you knew the world really would end in 2012, what would you do until then?” The other chewed thoughtfully for a moment.

Thus, the seeds for A Year in T-shirts were planted.

A Year in T-shirts is the story of a year as told through t-shirts. This online gallery features current events expressed through art and words on a printed tee – a form of expression we can all relate to. Each day’s t-shirt is created and posted that same day.

Like life, you never know where each day’s t-shirt will lead. Some stories will entice a smile, evoke a tear or incite outrage. But we hope each t-shirt touches you in a positive and powerful way. And ultimately, that will make the world a better place.
