Growing a cure

Good news for men who suffer from male pattern baldness: a cure could be on the market in under 5 years.

Recent research from the University of Pennsylvania has shown that a protein called PDG2 is responsible for stopping hair growth. A drug that blocks PDG2 has already been developed for other purposes and could be developed into a lotion for hair loss.

Of course, there have been other “miracle cures” on the market for a while now, each with its own degree of success. Will this one top the rest or will it be thin on results?
