Four decades of offers they can’t refuse

This week marks 40 years since the release of The Godfather – one of the most iconic films of all time.

Not only did it break box office records at the time, its influence on pop culture continues to be felt today. Catch phrases, quotes and indeed an entire movie genre owe their existence to The Godfather.

Ironically, director Francis Ford Coppola and lead actor Al Pacino were not the first choices for the film.

We could go on and on about The Godfather. But the best tribute is simply to watch it again.
