A moment of silence

Legendary American singer Etta James passed away yesterday, just 5 days before her 74th birthday.

A Rock and Roll Hall of Famer and Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award winner, James’s musical style defied style, crossing genres that include blues, R&B, rock and roll, soul, gospel and jazz.

For 5 decades, her music touched the lives of many. In particular, her version of ‘At Last’ is a favourite at weddings and other romantic occasions.

Today’s t-shirt is in tribute to her. We’re at once saddened by her passing into history and grateful for the musical legacy she has left behind.
